My career has been focused on real estate, specializing in property and asset management, corporate real estate space planning and commercial/residential mortgage-backed securities. My decision to become a broker was natural. since I come from a family where real estate sales run in our blood, and I love Chicago and its North Shore. There is a vibrant entrepreneurial energy at Dream Town, which I find invigorating and contagious.
As a broker, I'm specializing in several aspects of residential and commercial real estate, with an expertise in high-rise condominiums and single-family homes. I place a high premium on sharpening my communication skills throughout my 20-plus year career that included various management roles, helping me work more effectively with both buyers and sellers. I’ve learned to interact well with many types of people, and react to a wide range of situations. I focus on working smarter and more creatively, which has made me a valuable contributor and leader in both the industry and in my community.
I've lived all over the United States; born in St. Louis, then moved to Dallas in the 7th grade, and attended college in Waco and Seattle, and have worked in Houston, Philadelphia, Los Angeles, and Chicago. Locally, I've lived in Chicago's River North, Edgewater, and Lincoln Square neighborhoods, before eventually investing in Evanston since 2003. I hold a BBA from Baylor University and an MBA from Seattle University.
